You may be wondering why I haven't been updating the blog for a few days..Its been a crazy few days trying to get the new site in order..That's right new .com..I felt like it was time to kick it up a notch and make things legit..blogspot was fun and you guys have supported like non other..I would just like to say thank you for all your support over the 10 months the blogspot has been up..

For the new site..It will be exactly the same format just a different look..And a lot more features.. One feature will be the guest blog featuring Kevin Booker..Josh Wisdumb..Ark United..Killa Kate..Standard ATL..Ant from New Era..Mike from Orisue..And Steve-O from Laced Magazine..I will also be doing a full out new shop guide..Look for that in the future..Once again thank you for the support..

Besides Lupe's album, DJ Shadow's album The Outsider dropped today, and it blows Lupe and every other record that has dropped in the last ten years out of the water. What you just read was the biggest lie I have ever told. I wish I could say this album is great, being a huge Shadow fan for years, but this album just doesnt appeal to me at all. But then again I am the type of Shadow fan that is waiting for an album like Entroducing. (which I happened to get a poster of for my move in on wednesday, very happy about it) But instead I got a Shadow album thats all about the Bay area sound, full of Keak Da Sneak and Hyphy for days, just not my thing. It sounds nothing like a Shadow album, and I respect the fact the idea behind The Outsider was to be different from any previous albums, and althrough there are some tracks that are pretty good, I just can't get into this album no matter how much I want to. I am hoping his LRG collabo is way better then this album. But if the bay area sound is your thing, check out Shadows new videos here and here.

Allergy Season

I feel the need to post this, I am not sure how Chris is going to feel about it, but I guess we will just play it by ear. I have this little problem and that little problem happens to be Allergies, I am not talking about me eating an apple and having to jam an epi pen into my thigh, I am talking about me stepping outside seeing the leaves starting to turn into their beautiful fall colors and then my whole nasal passage swelling up the point where the middle of my face feels like the middle of Rosie O'Donnels waist line. If your going through the same thing right now, here is some advice on how not to treat the situation. Do not wake up one day and say "hey, its a nice day to head to Brooklyn!" (or any other city like environment when you are normally living in the tree farm capital of America) spend a few nights have a good time and then figure "hey I think I will head home." Now your home, home sweet home, get off the train. BAM the scent of a crusty leaf stabs you in the face. Your done for. Heres a look at all the allergy med's I am currently on while trying to get a grip on the whole leaves and grass giving me swift kicks to the cranium situation.

I get some hate whenever I express my love for New Balance (but Doug Chopz knows nothing about anything, he told me the Funk Master Flex Lugz Driving show was hot, not even lying right now actually he never said that, but you know he thinks it), but I feel the need to represent. First off before even looking at the sneakers, you need to look at company ethics. Check out Nike's rep sheet on Sage Francis's new information driven website Knowmore.org which breaks down all of your favorite brands and shows what there really about, compared to NB's (while your on the site check out Knowmores special report on American Apparel) But why all the hate on New Balance? Because a company for a while wasn't doing color-ways that popped and decided to dedicate their time on comfort (and you know that they feel good) because they knew that their clientele were primarily running enthusiasts? Respectable. Now they got the comfort thing down to a science, there isn't a pair of NB's out there that would give you slightest sensation of foot or ankle discomfort, real talk. Now there dropping the color schemes and the materials on me (NB been doing 3M for how long?) and I can't even get my hands on a pair, you want to talk limited? Its tough out here for a NB head in the states to be gawking at Europe & Japan releases only all day. Damn. So you thought this would going to be all out NB love, screw that. Alot of news coming from Kid Robot that has my psyched. First off Kid Robot NY, the Prince street location is currently under renovation so Kid Robot has opened up their Pirate Store on 281 Lafayette Street which is directly across the street from Supreme. Kid Robot LA on Melrose Ave is also being re-done and is set to re-open in early October. The Pirate store opened up on the 12th and will remain open until the 24th. On September 7th, Kid Robot threw a party for The Paint Ball, you can check out some pictures here. Kid Robot has also announced they will release a full apparel line this Fall that includes many collaborations. Word is that KR is revamping their stores and creating lifestyle stores to go along with their up coming clothing line release. The Paintball party pictures feature some images from the line, and they look promising. KR also announced a full sneaker line as well as a Kid Robot Europe location do next year. I posted some info about the Solebox release of the Purple Devil II (576) but here are some more details. The Purple Devil 576 will be released on September 12th at 4pm German time which is 10am here in the states. There are a decent 300 pairs, unlike the 575's 150 pairs and they come in US sizes 8-13. For those of you who are wondering what the deal is with the Purple Devil III 1500 (pictured) they are rumored to be released on September 19th, stay tuned for more info.

Looks like Nike is gonna boost up the ID program once again with Premium Leather. The first launch is the am1 in some pretty ill color pieces it seems. Some Fresh good are released exclusively each month to go with each shoe release into 2007.
